Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are currently looking for someone to join or team here at Hingham Winsupply Co. as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and efficient warehouse operations. This position combines driving responsibilities with warehouse tasks, offering a fast-paced environment that keeps you moving and engaged. You will be responsible for safely transporting plumbing, heating, and HVAC equipment to various locations while also assisting with loading, unloading, and inventory management within the warehouse. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers and maintain smooth operational flow.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering orders accurately and professionally, addressing customer questions or concerns when needed
• Assist with warehouse organization, including moving inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness
• Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring products are secured properly for transit
• Follow all route driving protocols, traffic laws, and safety procedures to ensure safe delivery operations

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members
• Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, moving heavy items, and operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks involving manual lifting and moving of goods
• Familiarity with route driving, load securing, and safety regulations for commercial vehicles
• Knowledge of forklift operation or certification is desirable but not mandatory

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
