Position Summary
The Construction Manager I is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and customer expectations. The Construction Manager I coordinates subcontractors, field teams, materials, and project resources while maintaining strong communication with clients, internal leadership, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate daily project activities, subcontractors, field personnel, and vendors
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal team members
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and building codes
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress to ensure project objectives are met
- Act as liaison between Company, field personnel, subcontractors, and customers
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or conflicts in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to management
- Report daily construction activities to the Construction Manager and Project Manager
- Support a safe and productive work environment for all personnel on site
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of construction management experience
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related systems/tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of construction management experience
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Experience using project management software
- Professional certification in Construction Management or related discipline
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
