Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join Hines Italy’s Asset Management in Milan who would support senior team members on wide range of activities. The successful candidate will:
- Update financial models with actuals and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis and sensitivities on the models, comparing returns outcome
- Support on the asset management activities, including leasing and sale processes
- Provide financial and qualitative analysis and prepare investment memos for Board Approvals
- Draft documents and presentations for internal/external use and governance bodies
- Liaise with third parties as investors, lenders, brokers, tenants and legal/tax advisors
- Join commercial due diligence activities including market analysis and lease reviews
- Support the project management team on the technical activities
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Studied or are studying towards a degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate
- The preferred candidate has already completed all the exams (or close to) and is the process of preparing the final dissertation
- No prior real estate experience is required, however a strong interest in the field and willingness to learn are fundamental. Strong passion for real estate sector
- Fluent English
- Excellent command of English (particularly written)
- Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactive and autonomous approach
- Able to manage different tasks under pressure
- Understand the mechanics of the Italian real estate market and the entire asset management process
