Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Regional Operations Manager is a key support resource for on-site managers and directors, assisting with client relations, staff development, and projects as needed across multiple locations in the Los Angeles area. The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for implementing strategic planning and analysis, facilities maintenance and oversight, operational streamlining, and workplace safety initiatives, performance management, and comprehensive reporting across the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional strategic plans that align with organizational priorities
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead streamlining initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity across all sites
- Oversee facilities maintenance and programs across all sites and ensure sites meet regulatory and client standards
- Design and implement incentive programs and performance improvement strategies that motivate staff and address underperformance proactively
- Identify and mitigate operational, regulatory and financial risks and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations
- Build and sustain high-performing teams through team-building initiatives, clear accountability, and consistent leadership and guidance
- Produce comprehensive reports and analysis for financial performance, safety metrics, and operational trends
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities):
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
- 5 years of experience of leading operations
- Ability to enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of workplace safety
- Ability to manage, develop, and retain teams of employees across multiple locations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize across competing demands
- Support on-site managers and directors with client needs, ensuring service expectations are met and concerns are addressed promptly
- Ability to professionally communicate, verbally and in writing, in a clear and solution oriented manner
- Working knowledge of budgeting, operational analysis, and financial reporting
- Ability to use sound judgement in difficult situations and solve problems effectively.
Preferred education and experience
- Basic knowledge of using a PC and MS Office software.
- Experience in facilities service, building maintenance, janitorial, or related service industry
- Experience in building or administrating incentive compensation or performance improvement programs
- Experience supporting or managing client-facing projects
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently travel across the Los Angeles region, including driving to multiple sites per day
- Ability to work in varying environments, including office, facilities, and outdoor settings.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push 40 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for long periods of time during site visits
Other Requirements:
Must be able to pass the Federal background check (Livescan) and Tuberculosis (TB) test.
Valid Driver’s License
Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
