Day Program Coordinator (Full Time)
Hinds' Feet Farm in Huntersville, NC is seeking a dedicated and passionate Day Program Coordinator to lead engaging and life-enriching programs for adults living with brain injury.
This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering a safe, supportive environment while promoting growth, dignity, independence and community integration.
We offer medical and health insurance options and paid time off as well as other benefits. This position is hourly, with the potential to transition to a salaried role based on experience, performance, and demonstrated work ethic. Current range is $20 - $30 p/hr.

The Day Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing the dynamic daily programming that supports each member's personal goals and overall well-being. The leadership, creativity, and purpose to support community integration and person-centered growth. Programs are designed to be Person-Centered and community based, measure progress, and address behavioral challenges while ensuring crisis plans are in place. You supervise staff and interns, maintain a memberdriven and safe environment, and plan programming that fosters social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and pre-vocational development. Collaborating with community partners, you manage logistics and transport members on outings, all while focusing on improving quality of life and fostering dignity and connection for every member.

REQUIRED Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a related human services field
- Valid driver's license with 5 years of driving experience
- Car insurance and a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a 15-passenger bus
- Ability to operate a wheelchair lift
- Experience working with the targeted population
- Recognized as a Qualified Professional in the state of North Carolina
- Good standing on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry
- CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist), LRT (Licensed Recreational Therapist) for greater than one year
- CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) or willing to gain this professional training
- Experience planning and facilitating quality programming in a member-driven group environment
- Ability to facilitate meetings
