We are seeking a Shipping and Materials Coordinator to support daily shipping operations within our manufacturing facility. This role ensures finished goods are packed, loaded, documented, and shipped accurately and on time. You will coordinate carrier pickups, prepare shipping documentation, and maintain accurate ERP transactions. In addition, you will support receiving and inventory control activities as needed.

What You'll Do...
We are seeking a Shipping and Materials Coordinator to support daily shipping operations within our manufacturing facility. This role ensures finished goods are packed, loaded, documented, and shipped accurately and on time. You will coordinate carrier pickups, prepare shipping documentation, and maintain accurate ERP transactions. In addition, you will support receiving and inventory control activities as needed.
Shipping Responsibilities
- Pack and box finished goods to prepare for shipment
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and special customer requirements prior to shipment
- Review production output and sales order schedules to prioritize shipments
- Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete prior to release
- Generate shipping labels and complete required ERP transactions
- Schedule pickups with LTL, FTL, parcel, and expedited freight carriers
- Communicate shipment status updates to Customer Service
- Receive incoming materials, parts, and equipment; verify quantities and inspect for accuracy
- Record receipts and inventory transactions accurately in the Made to Manage (M2M) ERP system
- Coordinate material staging to support production schedules
- Maintain organized storage areas and safe material handling practices
- Participate in cycle counting and inventory control activities to maintain inventory accuracy
Experience & Background
- Experience in shipping, warehouse operations, materials coordination, or logistics within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using ERP systems for inventory and shipping transactions
- Familiarity with freight carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel, expedited) and shipping documentation requirements
- Exposure to inventory control practices such as cycle counting and material staging
- Strong proficiency with forklift operation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and system transactions
- Problem solving skills and critical thinking
- Comfortable navigating ERP systems and maintaining clean, accurate data
- Basic understanding of freight billing and invoicing processes
