Human Resources Coordinator

Himmel Hospitality Group is seeking an HR Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations across all HHG restaurants. You'll be the first point of contact for employees on routine HR matters and partner closely with the HR Manager and restaurant leadership to deliver a great employee experience — from recruiting and onboarding through everyday employment lifecycle support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Field employee questions on policies, benefits, payroll, and scheduling
• Coordinate recruiting logistics: postings, screening, interviews, candidate communication
• Lead new hire onboarding (I-9, tax forms, benefits, ServSafe verification, orientation)
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data; support compliance audits
• Process status changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding paperwork
• Support payroll, benefits administration, and leave-of-absence cases
• Track certifications/training; support investigations and employee relations
• Generate HR metrics and represent HHG at recruiting events

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1–3 years of HR/admin experience; hospitality background strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of MA and federal employment law
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll/ATS platforms and Microsoft Office 365
• Bachelor's degree preferred; PHR/SHRM-CP a plus
• Excellent organization, discretion, and communication skills; bilingual a plus
• Willingness to travel between Boston-area HHG restaurants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
