What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) position at Himalayan Massage & Spa?
We are looking for massage therapists with a great passion for massage therapy and customer service. It is important that our massage therapists have a positive and friendly charisma that matches the charming and quaint energy of our massage studio. Massage therapist must love his line of work and helping clients feeling their best. Must work well with minimal supervision and provide a top high class service to clients. We are located in the heart of Vienna with plenty of ample free parking spots.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Massage therapist must provide consistent professional massage and bodywork services.
- Massage therapist must clean and prepare your massage room before and after each client.
- Massage therapist must uphold excellent communication with management.
- Massage therapist must address our client’s questions and concerns professionally.
- Massage therapist must maintain a positive attitude within the workplace.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must learn to use our appointment booking software (Massagebook)
- Must be punctual and have excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to rebook clients for their next appointment before leaving.
- Must be licensed in the state of VA to practice massage therapy.
- Must have liability insurance.
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- Must have VA license to practice massage or in the process of getting it.
- No work experience needed. Training new school graduates for more advanced and effective techniques are available.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
