Bulk Storage Systems Propane Service Technician (TRAVEL)

The Position: We are looking for a Propane Service Technician who would be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of many types of bulk propane storage and bulk propane systems. Stick welding experience preferred. This is an hourly position starting at $26, wage based on experience.

The Location: Hiltz Propane Systems is based in Marietta, PA. This position involves frequent traveling throughout the East Coast.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state license.
- Minimum of two years related service work
- Five or more years’ experience in the propane industry (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots, services, repairs and maintains many varieties of propane systems.
- Understands, follows and advocates company policies and local, state and federal rules, regulations, and codes pertaining to the safe installation and service of propane equipment
- Performs inspections and testing of propane systems and places propane systems in and out of service as necessary.
- Assist with bulk tank setting and removal, transportation functions and bulk plant and/or vehicle maintenance as needed.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
