The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is looking for its next Server to join the Odysea Lounge Team!

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage service, including wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, hot and non-alcoholic beverages, cuisines, and pairings, with a focus on enhancing the overall dining experience.
• A minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Server.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English at a level required for the workplace, is required.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time

Shifts: Evening Shifts 

Hourly Rate:  $17.75 plus tips and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
• Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
• Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
• 2 years of cocktail or food server Experience
