The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking an FT Laundry Attendant to join the team!
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for handling hotel and guest laundry, ensuring delivery to the linen room, guestrooms, or designated areas in accordance with Hilton and hotel policies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle linen and guest items carefully to prevent damage.
· Operate laundry equipment and use chemicals safely.
· Inspect laundry for damages or discoloration before and after cleaning.
· Collect, prepare, and deliver guest laundry, ensuring correct room tagging and accurate billing.
· Respond to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Manage hotel team uniforms and assist with distribution.
· Report faulty equipment or unfamiliar materials to the laundry team leader.
· Perform other reasonable duties as assigned, adhering to Hilton policies, code of conduct, and safety procedures.
