This is your chance to be part of an in-house Legal team at a top global hospitality company! As a Director & Counsel, Sales & Distribution, you will support the team in guiding Hilton's legal activities to ensure maximum protection while engaging in global business and ensuring compliance with our legal obligations. On the Commercial Services and Technology Legal team, you will report to the Senior Director & Senior Counsel, Commercial Services (Sales & Distribution). You will support projects, including supporting Global Sales initiatives and the expansion of third-party distribution partnerships.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Provide practical legal guidance to Global Sales stakeholders on new and expanding B2B programs, capabilities, and initiatives.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting sales programs and third-party distribution relationships (including vendor and partner contracts).
  • Develop contract templates, playbooks, and guidance to enable efficient contracting at scale.
  • Support contract lifecycle needs, including amendments, interpretation, and issue resolution in partnership with business stakeholders.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Partner daily with Global Sales and third-party distribution business teams to align legal advice with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts (e.g., privacy, compliance, procurement, and technology) to obtain input and guide review.
  • Collaborate with other Hilton Legal colleagues supporting Commercial Services and Technology to ensure guidance across workstreams.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

  • Ownership of key Contract templates and guidance resources supporting sales and distribution work.
  • Ownership of assigned negotiations and related deal execution from initial issue spotting through signature and implementation.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active U.S. bar license
  • Five (5) years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (in-house or law firm).
  • Experience supporting sales, partnerships, distribution, or other go-to-market commercial workstreams.
  • Willing to travel 10-20%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience supporting global sales organizations, distribution, or marketplace/partner channel models.
  • Experience developing reusable templates, playbooks, and contracting guidance to scale legal support.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders on complex, high-visibility commercial initiatives.
