Job Summary:
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming enterprise-scale big data processes through cloud migration initiatives. You will serve as a technical leader on the cloud solutions architecture team, driving the design and implementation of sophisticated automation processes while supporting critical operational functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding teams through cloud technology adoption, with a primary focus on public cloud deployments. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, as you will mentor team members and lead cloud data initiatives that directly impact business outcomes. You will be at the forefront of building, testing, and refining cloud processes that align with organizational objectives while fostering a collaborative environment through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of cloud solutions architecture
• Build and implement automation processes to improve efficiency and streamline workflows
• Support operational functions across cloud environments running production and non-production workloads
• Lead and participate in cloud data initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Design, test, and refine cloud processes to meet evolving business requirements
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members through coaching, collaboration, and training
• Lead large-scale projects and develop solutions for complex business problems
• Build and execute items on a multi-year strategic roadmap
• Configure and tune Informatica for optimal performance
• Deploy and manage big data applications in public cloud environments
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
Skills:
• Deep knowledge of AWS components including RDS, RedShift, IAM, S3, and EMR
• Proficiency with open-source cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Expertise in big data tools and best practices
• Strong scripting abilities in bash and python
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and deployment
• Understanding of multi-account AWS topology
• Ability to interact effectively with public cloud environments
• Leadership skills for both direct and indirect reporting relationships
• Strong problem-solving capabilities for complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience:
• 5-7 years supporting applications in production environments
• 2 or more years using open-source cloud provisioning tools in production cloud environments
• 2 or more years of AWS experience with multi-account topology
• 2 or more years of scripting and deployment experience in production environments
• 2 or more years of industry experience with big data applications deployed in public cloud environments
• Experience with Informatica configuration and tuning
• Proven track record leading large-scale projects
• Fluency in Chinese preferred
• Relevant public cloud certifications preferred
• Relevant certifications for open-source tools or scripting languages preferred
