Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Keep boiler systems running smoothly: Operate, maintain, and repair boiler systems to ensure safe and efficient performance
- Maintain other related systems: Oversee the operation and upkeep of condensate and feed-water systems, air compressors, dryers, wastewater pumps, and heat recovery systems
- Respond to service requests: Quickly handle unscheduled and emergency work orders related to boiler system issues
- Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
