The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is looking for people with a flair for hospitality to join our team as Banquet Servers. Full-time, part-time and on call schedules are available, depending on the individual.
The Hilton Short Pump is a flagship property of Shamin Hotels, Central Virginia's largest hotel management company. We own and operate more than 78 full- and select-service hotels under the Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, InterContinental and Choice flags.

The main purpose of this Banquet Server position is to ensure that our guests receive the highest quality of services in our Food & Beverage outlets.
Job functions include:
- Set up side station and perform side work as assigned
- Set up banquet room per the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Provide excellent service and attention to all guests
- Serve beverages and meals according to standards
- Remove soiled plates and glassware
- Clear tables
- Perform clean up as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned

The position requires a guest service orientation and the capability to effectively communicate with guests and team members and the flexibility to work various schedules as business demands:
- Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience is helpful
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
