Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and swiftly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fast-paced environments such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience serving in a hospitality setting that emphasizes customer service excellence
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Prior work in the food industry or retail environment is highly desirable; experience in brewing or catering is a plus
