JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Beverage Server
Department: Food & Beverage
Supervision Exercised: None
Supervision Received: Assistant F&B Manager / F&B Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality serving experience preferred.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to carry trays and serve beverages safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and basic cocktail preparation preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service and age verification laws.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests, take drink orders, and deliver beverages promptly.
- Provide menu knowledge and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Open tabs, process payments, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, tables, and stations.
- Restock glassware, garnishes, service trays, and beverage supplies as needed.
- Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes or simple beverage items when required.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management of issues as needed.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
