Overview
We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team. Work will primarily be performed at shops and construction sites in Cartersville, GA and Alpharetta, GA. Travel to other jobsites and shops may be needed.
Candidates must be willing to travel to locations as needed.
Pay Range: $28/hr - $35/hr
- Lay out and route piping from isometric drawings, mechanical plans, and field conditions
- Set hangers, supports, and anchors
- Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with codes and project specs
- Learn new fabrication and fitting processes and techniques
- Maintain consistent quality requirements
- Operate and collaborate effectively under foremen
- Work safely with rigging, lifting equipment, and other work permits
- Coordinate with other trades on active construction sites
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial mechanical work
- Able to read and work from isometric drawings, mechanical plans, and submittals
- Strong fit-up and layout skills
- Familiarity with working on active construction jobsites
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites across Georgia
- Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Forklift, scissor lift, fall protection, or boom lift certifications
