We are currently hiring a Part-Time Security Guard who is proactive, professional, and comfortable working independently and in high-pressure situations. If you are passionate about safety and hospitality, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across all areas of the hotel. You will be the first responder to incidents, provide support to guests and team members, and help enforce property policies. Responsibilities include:

• Patrolling hotel property regularly, including guest floors, back-of-house, parking areas, and perimeter
• Monitoring surveillance systems and responding promptly to alarms or suspicious activity
• Assisting with emergency situations such as evacuations, injuries, or disturbances
• Responding to guest or associate concerns with professionalism and discretion
• Completing detailed reports and incident documentation as needed
• Working closely with hotel leadership to ensure safety procedures are followed
• Assisting with lost-and-found procedures and managing access control to restricted areas
• Providing a visible presence that promotes guest confidence and deters potential incidents

What Will You Bring to the Role?

We are looking for someone responsible, observant, and people-focused. Our ideal candidate has:

• Prior experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement is preferred
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• The ability to stay calm and think clearly in high-stress situations
• A professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
• The ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time
• Basic computer skills for logging reports and accessing security systems
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
