Position Summary
The Guest Services Representative is the first and last point of contact for our guests. This role is essential in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out experiences, handling reservations, and providing accurate information to enhance each guest's stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
- Handle reservations, modifications, cancellations, and room assignments
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a courteous manner
- Provide information about resort amenities, local attractions, and events
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Process payments, maintain accurate records, and balance shift reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to meet guest needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
- Follow all brand standards, resort policies, and safety procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers and hotel property management systems (PMS experience a plus)
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
