The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson is seeking a Banquet Server to join our Team!
The Banquet Server executes meal service for on-site and off-site events in a prompt and courteous fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up equipment and items in a timely fashion needed to carry out a successful catered meal. Typically includes setting up a buffet or food station, setting dining tables, and preparing food and beverage service.
- Serves food and beverages to guests as specified in the Event Order in a manner that maintains professionalism and high guest satisfaction.
- Clean up equipment and items used during service and return to storage to be used for the next event.
- Anticipate and beware of guest needs before and during events to provide high-quality service.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the position's essential functions are outlined below. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the position.
- Associate must be able to remain stationary for up to 8 hours a day.
- Associate must be able to constantly position themselves to move as directed.
- Associate may have to transport up to 25 pounds.
- Associate must be able to communicate effectively.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of proper service etiquette and standards
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to take direction.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to problem solve.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Banquet experience is preferred.
- TIPS Certified preferred
