What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant position at Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort?
Join our team this summer at HHIB&T! We are looking for someone who will keep the pool area clean, safe and fun. The pool attendant will be able to welcome guests/owners, communicate with security and provide a hazardous free zone. This is a great opportunity to gain guest service and pool maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Check in every guest/owner entering the pool area by securing the guest's name, unit number, and number of guests.
- Required to check for oversized coolers, glass bottles, drinks, or food in the pool itself, and for anyone smoking.
- Make regular rounds of the pool of the enclosed pool area and looking for hazards and or violations.
- Report and problems to security by contacting the Security Gatehouse via portable radio.
- Responsible for issuing equipment such as Shuffle board or Corn Hole from the Activities Shed.
Educational / Age Requirement
Must be 18 years or older
Basic First Aid
CPR/AED Training is preferred.
Physical Demands
Could require long periods of standing and walking. Must be able to perform under extreme weather conditions when necessary.
Environmental Conditions
Jo requires long periods of being exposed to environmental conditions.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
