Maintenance Technician III

Phenomenal opportunity to join our Maintenance team at the amazing Bayside Resort, a Hilton Vacation Club located in Panama City Beach, FL

As a Maintenance Tech III you would be responsible for maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, back of the areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution.

Our Facilities Department operates 7 days per week. Maintenance Team Members may work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include:

• Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership.
• Assist other maintenance staff on special projects.
• Accurate documentation in English is necessary for logs and inspection sheets.
• Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown and popcorn ceilings.
• Repairs boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning.
• Maintains, repairs, and performs scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC, laundry equipment, exhaust systems, etc.
• Other duties as assigner by your leader.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance and repair, preferably within a hotel or resort environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proven HVAC expertise with current certification.
• Mechanical knowledge
• Able to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet; push and pull up to 100 lbs; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; and perform tasks requiring grasping, stooping, and overhead reaching—with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Certifications:

• Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification.
• OSHA 10-30
