Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience for our guests. You will prepare and serve breakfast items, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and assist with guest inquiries, all while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Set up the breakfast area before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking food supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Uphold health and safety standards in food preparation and service areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations if necessary.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings on weekends.
