Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing.
• Greet guests warmly, take food and drink orders efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly using POS systems.
• Assist with food service by delivering meals to tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction during their dining experience.
• Support catering and banquet events by setting up stations, serving guests, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Monitor guest interactions to promote sales opportunities while maintaining a lively yet professional atmosphere suitable for nightclubs or fine dining environments.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is required; fine dining or banquet experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in diverse settings including nightclubs or catering events.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations is necessary to ensure compliance.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience with brewing or retail math is advantageous; familiarity with food industry standards enhances your ability to excel in this role.
