Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms by cleaning and disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces looking pristine.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to ensure prompt resolution.
- Adhere to hotel policies related to health, safety, and confidentiality while delivering exceptional custodial service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or supplies as needed.
