Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. Duties
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items according to type and cleaning requirements
- Perform cleaning tasks including folding, ironing, and packaging finished laundry items
- Ensure proper handling of delicate items requiring dry cleaning or special care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages
- Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care to ensure quality results
- Adhere to safety protocols when operating machinery and handling chemicals
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
