Pay Rate: $15 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently to meet guest needs.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold property standards.
- Assist with janitorial tasks or special cleaning projects as needed to support overall hotel operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet extraction.
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable; familiarity with hospitality standards enhances your effectiveness.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in all cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required.
