In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards, handling laundry operations, and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for staff and guests alike. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and workspaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Operate linen care machines such as industrial washers, dryers to ensure textiles are properly cleaned and maintained
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain sanitation standards by following safety procedures when working with laundry detergents and cleaning chemicals
• Assist with textile cleaning tasks such as stain removal, garment inspection, and proper storage of cleaned items
• Follow safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents during manual handling or heavy lifting tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of laundry loads and materials handling equipment
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety standards in production environments, and proper use of laundry detergents and cleaning agents
• Strong customer service skills to address guest needs courteously when interacting in shared spaces
• Familiarity with garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Week-ends are mandatory - Flexible in scheduling
