Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic food service operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen, restaurant and bar management, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient food and beverage service, and smooth daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all food and beverage service staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing team.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless shift management, timely food preparation, and excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, waste reduction, and cost analysis to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations across all dining areas and kitchen operations.
  • Utilize Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production, presentation, and timely delivery to guests.
  • Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor budget adherence and assist in planning for staffing levels, menu offerings, and operational improvements.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality excellence and customer satisfaction in casual dining or fine dining settings.
  • Support catering events, banquets, or special functions by managing logistics and ensuring top-tier service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining restaurants.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff development.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and sanitation practices essential for maintaining health regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in restaurant management roles including shift management, inventory control, budgeting, and training & development initiatives.
  • Hospitality management background with hotel or catering experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
