Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front desk operations, including guest arrivals, departures, and reservations management using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Lead and motivate front office staff to deliver outstanding guest services with a focus on hospitality excellence and phone etiquette.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly through customer service problem-solving skills, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Oversee the night audit process to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately while maintaining compliance with hotel policies and emergency procedures.
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently to assist guests, coordinate with other departments, and handle client communication professionally.
- Monitor hotel emergency procedures and ensure staff are trained to respond effectively during crises or unexpected situations.
- Support reservation processes by utilizing hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking procedures.
- Promote guest relations by addressing special requests, resolving complaints, and enhancing overall guest experience in a multilingual or bilingual environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, ideally with resort or hotel experience.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or comparable platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hotel management procedures including night audit processes, guest services, and emergency protocols.
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and demonstrate professional phone etiquette at all times.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and client communication.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on hospitality reservation systems and guest relations is preferred.
