Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring all food and beverages are stocked and displayed attractively
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Take orders and serve breakfast items to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist guests with any special dietary requests or restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including cleaning tables, chairs, and countertops
- Monitor food levels and replenish as needed throughout the breakfast service
- Handle cash transactions using a POS system
- Upsell additional food or beverage items to enhance the guest experience
- Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meals
- Follow all safety and health regulations in handling food and beverages
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems for order taking and payment processing is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant setting is desirable
- Sales skills to upsell additional menu items
