Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of hotel spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure hygienic environments.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns.
• Ensure all cleaning surfaces are disinfected regularly, following health and safety protocols for sanitation compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, carpet cleaning tools, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle outdoor work conditions when applicable.
