List of Duties: Front Desk Agent
The Hilton Garden Inn Homewood Suites Dual Brand Wichita Airport is looking for a full-time Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent's responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
- Greets, checks in, and assigns rooms to guests
- Promptly and effectively deals with guest requests and complaints
- Answers phone calls and routes appropriately, take accurate messages, makes reservations, and uses upselling techniques as directed by General Manager or Sales Team
- Handles confidential information with high integrity
- Closing and balancing all room accounts.
- Maintains accurate cash, accounting, and reservation records
- Responsible for all cash and credit card transactions so that drawers balance at the end of each shift
- Making adjustments or corrections to accounts as needed.
- Preparing guest folios for Express Check-Out.
- Investigating or analyzing out-of-balance situations.
- Answers guest inquiries about area attractions, hotel services, directions, or reservations
- Records pertinent guest information and issues in the logbook for opening managers review
- Keeps communal areas and lobby clean
- Follows company policies and procedures

- Perform other duties as requested by management
Job Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of three months of hotel guest service experience or equivalent training and experience.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Preferred: Hotel front desk experience
