Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management software
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
- Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing front desk communications
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Experience in guest services, guest relations, or resort management preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
