Job Summary:The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager to ensure the day-to-day business operations run smoothly.Essential Job FunctionsOversee the day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel staff; assist the General Manager in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals. Communicate and enforce policies and proceduresRecommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with Company rules and policies. Alert General Manager of potential issuesEnsure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functionsSupervise staff in multiple departments as neededUse company-wide tools, systems and applications without exceptionProvide hands-on support for front office operationsEnsure accounts receivables are updated and invoices are sent and reconciled weekly.
