The Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, Northeastern Indiana’s premier full-service hotel and convention facility, is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead its front desk and bell/transportation departments with energy, integrity, and a passion for top-tier service.
As a full-service Hilton property, we are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality at every touchpoint. We are looking for a results-driven, guest-focused leader who thrives on the front lines. While this is a management position that involves administrative responsibilities such as payroll, scheduling, and team performance oversight, the successful candidate is expected to spend at least 80% of their time actively engaged with their team and our guests. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who leads by example and has a genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
· Provide day-to-day leadership for front desk and bell/transportation operations
· Ensure consistent delivery of Hilton brand service standards
· Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop front office staff
· Oversee scheduling, payroll, and staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency
· Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
· Maintain financial controls, assist with departmental budgeting, and take ownership of the gift shop
· Partner with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
· Ensure compliance with all company policies, Hilton brand standards, and applicable laws
Qualifications:
· Proven success in a front office or guest services leadership role; Hilton experience preferred
· Strong familiarity with Hilton systems (PEP) is a plus
· College degree in Hospitality or Business Management preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
· Able to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-guest-contact environment
Demonstrated ability to lead by example, mentor staff, and create a culture of service excellence
Flexible schedule is a must, this position may be required to work any shift, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Weekend availability is expected; while time off requests are considered, this role typically includes two days off during the week.
