Bonus paid as follows: After 30 days - $200 | After 60 days - $200 | After 90 days - $200 | After 180 days - $400

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Oversee and coordinate activities of kitchen personnel, including cooks and stewards, ensuring that food preparation meets quality and safety standards.
• Participate in planning food production, preparing and portioning foods, and utilizing food surpluses and leftovers effectively.
• Monitor inventory levels, requisition and manage food storage to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety standards and kitchen operations.
• Taste and observe food to ensure it meets recipe and appearance standards, and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as assist banquet and catering staff and move supplies and equipment.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

• 1 year of banquet/catering culinary experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High school education preferred.
• Working knowledge of kitchens, equipment, food production, sanitation and safety.
• Multi-lingual preferred.
