The Manufacturing Associate has a dual role: producing lamacoid tags and labels and helping with project tracking and documentation. This job requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to use engraving equipment. Good organizational and record-keeping skills are also important to keep work running smoothly and ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use machines to engrave plastic tags such as lamacoid tags, ground bar labels, and wrap-around labels based on project instructions.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on engraving machines to keep them running smoothly.
• Inspect engraved tags to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging or distribution.
• Pack and organize completed tags correctly for storage or shipping, ensuring they are labeled and protected.
• Track the progress of engraving orders to help keep projects on schedule.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring materials and finished tag stock to prevent shortages.
• Use Smartsheet to upload photos, update job statuses, and maintain accurate project records.
• Complete urgent engraving requests for field teams quickly to meet time-sensitive project needs.
• Identify and solve issues related to engraving, packaging, or tracking with minimal supervision.
• Suggest and support improvements to make production and documentation processes more efficient.
• Help with general warehouse tasks such as organizing materials or assisting with shipping and receiving.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or administrative role focused on detail-oriented tasks is preferred.
• Experience working with engraving equipment (laser or rotary) is highly desirable.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and digital tools for data entry and tracking.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical skills for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Strong literacy skills; able to read, understand, and follow technical instructions and documentation with precision.
