Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently
- Coordinate seating arrangements with the dining staff to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests using Toast Tables
- Maintain a clean and organized host station and waiting area
- Provide accurate wait time estimates and communicate effectively with guests
- Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and service quality
Skills
- Previous host/host experience preferred, especially within food service or restaurant environments
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Proficiency in using POS systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage guest inquiries smoothly
