Community Eldercare Services (CES) is looking for a Dietary Cook to join our growing team!

Dietary Cook duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and cook food according to resident diet specifications, menus, and facility procedures
- Review menus prior to food preparation and ensure accurate portioning
- Direct and assist dietary staff in food preparation, serving, and cleaning
- Ensure sanitation of dishes, utensils, work areas, and equipment
- Check meal trays for accuracy with diet cards
- Maintain proper storage of foods and supplies, ensuring readiness for upcoming meals
- Assist in inventorying and storing incoming foods and supplies
- Review diet changes and adjust menus as necessary
- Collaborate with Dietary Manager and team to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency required
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred
- 3-6 months related experience in food preparation or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service-focused with an outgoing personality
- Ability to multi-task and manage detail-oriented tasks
- Intermediate computer skills
