What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cookhelper position at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
The shift is from 11:00am - 7:00pm.
We are seeking a dedicated COOK OR COOKHELPER to join our dietary team. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve meals that meet the nutritional needs and physician ordered diets of our residents. This role is vital to ensuring our residents receive healthy, balanced, and enjoyable meals in a clean and welcoming environment. We prefer that Cooks have prior cooking experience(healthcare or nursing facility a plus). Must have a compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to established menus and recipes
*Follow physician-ordered dietary restrictions and special diets for residents
*Assist with meal plating, portion control and service
*Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
*Properly store food and supplies according to safety regulations
*Assist with inventory, stocking, and kitchen organization
*Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing staff to meet residents needs
Cook or cookhelper needed. Work four days, off two days, repeat. Great working environment. Preparing meals for elderly following their doctors orders.
