Hilltop Holdings is looking to hire a Program Manager, Banker Development .
The Program Manager, Banker Development will be over the Banker Development Program (BDP). The Banker Development Program is an early career development program designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career as a Commercial Banker (Lender) at PlainsCapital Bank. As the Program Manager, you will own all aspects of the program and lead the strategic direction including overseeing the execution of program rotations, training, curriculum, professional development, and individual progression of those in the program. You will partner with subject matter experts on delivering relevant training and hands-on opportunities within each market. You will work closely with bank leadership on the overall program strategy and drive accountability with program constituents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in program management and coordination, preferably with early careers programs
- Experience in designing and scaling processes
- Banking and/or Financial services experience preferred, but not required
- Solution-oriented mentality
- Attention to detail in planning, organizing and executing on tasks
- Ability to take on, prioritize, and complete projects with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft platforms such as Excel, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Copilot
- Experience in a Learning & Development-related role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels. Available to travel approximately 10% of the time

- Partner with bank leadership on the program strategy, execution and key metrics to measure the program effectiveness
- Develop program structure and maintain accountability with participants, managers and program stakeholders
- Build program outline with appropriate developmental goals that participants are expected to meet and ensure timely completion
- Partner with BDP managers to regularly assesses the performance of program analysts, and assist with determining ways to address poor performers through additional training if applicable
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and program participants
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop appropriate training solutions
- Coordinate the timeline and delivery of trainings led by subject matter experts to ensure both classroom and hands-on experience is provided
- In partnership with program stakeholders, design evaluations of program / program elements to ascertain meaningful feedback on program impact and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Stay up to date with banking industry requirements, trends, and best practices
