An overview of this position entails…This position is responsible for providing hospitality and customer service to residents, family members, and outside agencies for the Life Adjustment Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior that align with the values of Hilltop’s Assisted Living Communities (ALCs), including Service 1, how we treat each other, and Service 2, how we treat our residents. Service 1 and Service 2 is demonstrated by setting boundaries, being predictable, consistent, kind, and transparent.
2. Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and staff.
3. Accurately take food orders, place orders in kitchen, and serve when order is ready; provide room tray delivery, if required.
4. Provide line-of-sight to residents in the dining room; provide assistance as needed.
5. Clear dishes from table during and after each meal.
6. Mix, prepare, and assemble cold food items outside of service hours.
7. Assist cooks by preparing food for meal assembly; prepare food by washing, chopping, separating into individual serving containers, etc.
8. Set up service carts and ensure items are fresh and adequately supplied.
9. Clean, sweep and mop the dining area after each meal; clean, sweep, and mop wait staff station and empty trash receptacles.
10. Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and safely storing dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, bus tubs, etc. Deep clean, sweep, and mop as assigned.
11. Fill table condiments, stock wait staff station, and assist with silverware rolling.
12. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments.
13. Ensure food storage, food handling, and supplies meet all Mesa County and State of Colorado Health Department regulations.
14. Paying attention to the par levels of the food and restocking products as necessary.
15. Inspecting and maintaining proper chemicals for the dishwasher.
16. Assist others as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
One year of related work experience, or two years of general work experience. Minimum 18 years of age required.
