Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. This role involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service, especially during catering events.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for reordering.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and culinary techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry, preferably within a restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and meal preparation methods.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special meal preparations is a plus.
• Certification in food handling or culinary arts is desirable but not mandatory.
