Primary Responsibilities
Scheduling & Dispatch
- Schedule and dispatch mechanics
- Coordinate service calls and inspection appointments
- Track open work orders and follow up until complete
- Adjust schedule as priorities change
Lift System Management
- Enter work orders, inspections, and service records into Lift
- Maintain accurate equipment history
- Help build and improve workflow inside Lift
- Ensure documentation is complete and organized
DOT & Inspection Tracking
- Track annual inspections and DOT compliance deadlines
- Schedule renewals before expiration
- Maintain inspection records for audit readiness
- Ensure all required documentation is on file
Billing & Job Closeout
- Review completed jobs for accuracy
- Confirm labor, parts, and service notes are documented
- Submit completed work orders to invoicing
- Follow up on missing information
Parts & Field Support
- Order parts as needed
- Run parts when necessary
- Coordinate vendor pickups
- Inventory of parts- Ensure it is up to date and accurate.
- Schedule 3rd party work.
Customer Communication
- Confirm service dates and timelines
- Provide job updates
- Maintain professional communication
- Route technical issues to appropriate personnel
