Job Type: Full-time, Exempt opportunity

Starting Salary Range: $71,500 - 80,500

  • Therapist BBS $71,500
  • Therapist BBS plus Bilingual $ 75,500
  • Therapist BBS, Bilingual, plus Licensed $ 80,500

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.

The essential functions include:

  • Provide weekly individual, group and as indicated family therapy to Non-Minor Dependents (NMDs) in the THPP program
  • Support youth in developing Independent Living Plans (TILPs) and Needs and Services Plans (NSPs) in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and interdisciplinary case consultations
  • Document treatment progress, session notes, and service delivery in a timely and accurate manner
  • Offer crisis-oriented support and interventions as needed
  • Provide goal-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapeutic services
  • Collaborate with program staff, case managers, and community partners to support treatment goals
  • Assist youth in identifying and transitioning to long-term community-based mental health resources
  • Maintain clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and agency standards
  • Adhere to service delivery standards monitored by weekly productivity reports
  • Participate in ongoing in-service trainings and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive, team-based approach in a multi-disciplinary setting
  • Flexible schedule based on client needs, including potential evening and weekend hours
  • Coach and support NMDs in developing and maintaining daily living skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, money management, and time management.
  • Support the nursing department with tasks related to clients ongoing medical care including providing support for daily living skills, information needed for medical charting and other relevant tasks.
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES

  • Licensed or registered with the BBS (ASW/LCSW, AMFT/LMFT, APCC/LPCC)
  • Experience working with transition-age and neurodivergent youth
  • Valid California driver's license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier

Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
