Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Measure spaces and materials precisely using tape measures and basic math skills
- Perform trim carpentry tasks, including installing moldings, baseboards, cabinetry and other finish work
- Work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and project timelines
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to ensure smooth workflow
- Problem-solve on-site challenges as they arise to maintain project quality and efficiency
- Keep jobsite organized for safety and productivity
- Be open to learning new techniques and expanding your carpentry skill set
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction or carpentry experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on trim carpentry preferred
- Ability to read plans accurately
- Demonstrated proficiency with tape measures and basic math calculations relevant to carpentry tasks
- Reliable transportation to various job sites required
- Own tools necessary for carpentry work preferred
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to problem-solve independently or within a team
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
