Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand/Laborer to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in various farming operations, animal care, equipment maintenance, and general farm duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, practical skills in farm machinery and animal husbandry, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.
Duties
- Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, and caring for livestock such as goats and poultry
- Operate and maintain farm machinery
- Perform equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance techniques
- Manage heavy lifting of supplies, feed, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all work areas on the farm
- Assist with fencing repairs, equipment troubleshooting, and general farm infrastructure upkeep
Qualifications
- No prior experience in farming required
- Experience operating power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate machinery with proper training
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
