What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lathe CNC Programmer/Machinist position at Hillside Custom Machining & Fabrication?
Hillside Custom Machining and Fabrication seeks full-time Machinist with CNC Lathe programming experience. Hillside has been the leader in custom machining, automation, welding, fabrication, UL Panels and millwright services since 1992. The qualified candidates will be responsible for machining and producing complex parts on CNC machines to tight tolerance design specifications in an accurate and timely manner. Strong programming skills are a must. Studies blueprint/drawings and sample parts to determine part dimensions, tolerances, and best sequence of operations needed to machine parts. Strong analytical and communication skills.Ability to troubleshoot issues. Ability to maintain and repair Lathes is required.
Requires five years of experience or a combination of Technical Training and experience on a variety of CNC machines.We offer a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, prescription,vision and 401K with employer match.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of programming experience.
- Superior knowledge of programming using Partmaker Software
- Strong Quality Control Skills
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to Maintain and repair machines
- Strong Analytical and communication skills
- Experience with 4th or 5th axis programming
